It was the perfect day for a marriage and the perfect couple to be married. My wedding photographer Marielle let me tag along to assist with this wedding a few weekends ago, and I am forever grateful for her guidance and friendship. My friends booked me for their August 2010 wedding last year, and I remember telling them I didn’t think I’d be ready to shoot my own wedding. I approached Marielle through the year for tips and advice, and eventually asked her if I can assist her to learn the ropes a little better. She’s been an amazing mentor, and shooting with her makes weddings seem less intimidating and much more fun! Her ease in working with her clients (who LOVE her!) and her talent is the very reason why this girl is booked for a wedding nearly every weekend or sometimes booked for two weddings in one weekend! I’m proud to say she was my wedding photographer, too. :-)
Rachel and Tim are sincerely the sweetest wedding couple any vendor could ask for; Marielle always gets the best clients! These two are madly in love and are as insanely gorgeous on the inside as they are on the outside. Their private ceremony took place at the Oakland Latter-day Saints Temple followed by an intimate backyard reception in Modesto. This wedding was full of love, laughter, and super cute details!
This is a mix of digital and film…can you tell which is which?

These two were born to be models…gorgeous!

The SF Bay area view from the Temple is pretty awesome!

They were sent off with sparklers and ribbons, but the sparklers weren’t lit on time because they left so fast! I know, Tim has a huge ribbon shadow on his face, which made me hesitate posting this photo, but Rachel looks so happy and beautiful that I decided to post it anyway. It’s the only one I got of them leaving!

Rachel made these beautiful origami cranes…
